After halting production of their new album (Hot Sauce Committee Part 1) in 2009, when Adam Yauch was diagnosed with cancer, the Beasties are back. Congratulations to Yauch for making Cancer his bitch.
Not only are they working to complete their album, but Yauch is also producing a short film about the Beasties. Fight for your Right (Revisited) is based on the true events following their release of the video for the song of the same name in 1987. Elijah Wood, Seth Rogan and Danny McBride will star as the Beasties! Will Ferrel, John C. Reilly and Jack Black are also a part of the cast. Very exciting news indeed….Check out the photo below…
